Re:
The only way to make this X-Over an attractive X-Trail option is to chuck in it a V6 engine and make it more powerful than the identical Rogue twin. If they don't do that, they might as well sell Dualis badges with it.
Even with a V6 it won't be off-road capable but at least it will fun to drive on-road.

Re: T32 Rumours!
The 2014 Nissan Rogue (X-Trail) specifications have been released overseas and can be found HERE
I was a bit suprised by the size of the new X-Trail which seems to be larger than the T31 nearly in all aspects!

Re: T32 Rumours!
No diesel? Or just no specs yet?
I can't believe it's taller. No way I would have guessed that. The bigger wheels/tyres don't surprise me - look at the Murano now.
Also noticed there was no ground clearance or approach/departure angles given as part of the dimensions. I wonder why that is

Re:
I reckon it would come in the diesel variant for sure, probablt they haven't published the specs yet.
Yeah, I couldn't belive it was taller, longer and wider than the T31!
Am gonna try and find the ground clearance info.

Re:
That's not encouraging at all
Noisy cabin, loud engine noise with struggling engine and a useless 3rd row seats!
If these are the selling points of the new model X-Trail then Nissan will be in for a shock of their lives.

Re: T32 Rumours!
I noticed they weren't calling it an SUV. They were calling it a crossover. No off-road anything discussed at all. If Nissan are really going to release this as the X-Trail they have rocks in their heads. There is already small and large crossovers (Dualis and Murano) available. Why would they need a 3rd?
Didn't Nissan's own research suggest that X-trail owners liked the boxy, rugged shape and off-road ability of previous models? I'm sure I've read that before.

Re: T32 Rumours!
I think it is all to do with the CMF (Common Module Family) platform.
If you look at the body shape, it seems to have the same shape as the Dualis and Murano, just being a size inbetween
