Re:
I don't think that's the new Exy but time will tell. It is always good to share these rumour stories and see how each car fan magazine interprets it differently before the real thing is revealed at the motor show

Re: T32 Rumours!
Sadly I think that is it. Drive obviously have details about the new dimensions including that it will have a lower roof height.
Nissan has already killed the Pathfinder as an off-roader so why not kill the X-trail too. I'm thinking the partnership with Renault will have more than a little bit to do with the changes. If I were a betting man, I'd bet the new X-Trail will end up looking more like a Koleos than an X-Trail.

Re:
I just can't see the justification in it mirroring an exiting class and that is the Dualis/Qashqai, including the engine size, it just doesn't make any economical sense. I therefore think that some reviewers are getting confused between the refinement of the two "different" models.
A cheaper alternative to the X-Trail was always on the cards, in the T30 days they had it manufactured locally in Malaysia and Taiwan and for the T31 they have it manufactured in China for the local market/s. With the new comer there are rumours it will be manufactured in India to address local demand, but I think there is NO WAY the European market would accept such a drastic change and they're the dominating market out there at the moment.

Re: T32 Rumours!
It's the same base Jalal. The front end looks very similar but the rear end on the X-Trail is longer and more boxy. Like I said more like a station wagon.
The rear side quarter window is also a give away. The Dualis has a tiny window whereas the X-Trail has a much bigger window. Again more like a station wagon.

Re:
All I see Todd is the same car being "taped" differently which doesn't tell me anything
The rear side quarter window you are referring to is still there and being taped over, depending on which pic you look at.

Re: T32 Rumours!
Have a look at Picture 5 in both links. The rear end is completely (I use that word loosely) different. It is bigger and squarer on the X-Trail.
The two cars are going to end up very similar with probably the only major difference being passenger and boot space.

Re:
No problems mate, not long to go now until the new model is revealed and between now and then many theories will be proven right and/or wrong
I still beleieve there is no logical and/or economical reason for Nissan to build two almost identical vehicles like that, especially when there is a 2.0LT FWD X-Trail available which shares the exact same engine with the Dualis.
