It's 2006 2.0L petrol auto with 4WD (but most of the time I leave it on 2WD), done 84K. Seems I'm getting 8.5KM/L local drive and 10.4KM/L highway. Air-con has been turned on for some rides. Will keep monitoring and report back. nondisclosed_email@example.com (hiway2002)Tue, 13 Jan 2015 10:24:46 +0000 Re: Fuel consumption (T30 & T31 2.0LT Petrol Versions)https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2079546,from=rss#post2079546https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2079546,from=rss#post2079546I have a 2013 2wd st cvt model exie that has now travelled 6500 kms. Some tripping around but mostly urban driving - computer says I am getting around 8.8 litres per 100 kms. From day one I have only used the highest octane available when I fill up as I think the better performance, economy and cleaner engine are worth the extra cost. Dunno if my economy figures are outstanding but they seem pretty good to me! nondisclosed_email@example.com (mikespurr52)Wed, 27 Nov 2013 11:07:40 +0000 Re: Fuel consumption (T30 & T31 2.0LT Petrol Versions)https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2078008,from=rss#post2078008https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2078008,from=rss#post2078008This thread was intended exclusively for the 2.0 L petrol engine version. My last post (8 months ago) seems to have killed this thread. That was not intended. nondisclosed_email@example.com (DogTrail)Wed, 25 Sep 2013 00:27:54 +0000 Re: Fuel consumption (T30 & T31 2.0LT Petrol Versions)https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2069836,from=rss#post2069836https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2069836,from=rss#post2069836Hills will silently assassinate any fond hope of good fuel economy, no matter which motor is powering the beast. It takes a lot of energy to raise a couple of tonnes of machinery to the crest of a hill and it is not returned on the downhill slope. If you live on a hill, you will inevitably use more fuel than someone who does not.nondisclosed_email@example.com (DogTrail)Fri, 04 Jan 2013 23:32:06 +0000 Re: Fuel consumption (T30 & T31 2.0LT Petrol Versions)https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2069777,from=rss#post2069777https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2069777,from=rss#post2069777We seem to get a dreadful 12.8l/100 km running a 2011 T31 CVT. Most of the kms are done around the hilly eastern burbs. I don't get anywhere near the claimed fuel economy for the urban cycle. Any thoughts? nondisclosed_email@example.com (IvanT31)Thu, 03 Jan 2013 14:21:48 +0000 Re: Fuel consumption (T30 & T31 2.0LT Petrol Versions)https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2062572,from=rss#post2062572https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2062572,from=rss#post2062572I got 10.8l/100 km over a distance of 10 000km before fitting the Unichip from Dastek. The chip was set for fuel consumption improvement although I did get about a 5% power increase. Fuel consumption improved after installation of the chip. Now I get average 9.8l/100 km over a distance of 12 000km. Most of it is done in city driving which averages at 10.4l/100 km and open road/highway 9.3 l/100 km. Best open road was 8.1 l/100 km.nondisclosed_email@example.com (jcvdsa)Thu, 24 May 2012 06:42:31 +0000 Fuel consumption (T30 & T31 2.0LT Petrol Versions)https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2060027,from=rss#post2060027https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2060027,from=rss#post2060027Hi Guys, I thought I'd start this thread to give our members with the 2.0LT Front Wheel Drive T30 and T31 models a chance to compare and share their fuel consumption figures.nondisclosed_email@example.com (jalalski)Sun, 29 Jan 2012 18:08:20 +0000
