Kev,

The T31 front fenders are less forgiving than the T30 ones and cost more to replace emoticon

I had a mate come over my place last week and the first thing he wanted to do is lean on the front fenders thinking they were still plastic....lucky I caught him in time before he did any serious damage and left a nice huge dent in the car LOL emoticon emoticon

Re:

Other mods Jamie I would suggest would be Hyper rails, mirror lens covers, led scuff plates and a set of spotties!

I am only aware of a 35mm lift not a 50mm!

Love where you placed your trailer plug! emoticon

Looking good!

Regards Scot

Re: Rex

Thanks Scot,

Well you know that the hyper rails in the T30 are what initially attracted me to the Xtrail but I'm kinda not getting the love for the T31 with them on for some reason. Maybe time will change that.

Led Scuff Plates I like and will add them to my list and spotties are in my sights and on my XMAS wish list.

Want to be sure of the warranty issues befor I do a lift at this stage but this is something I seriously would consider learning from experience with the last one.

I went to install the wind deflector I got from Stephen (loafer) but would not go because the built in one raises too high so it went on Cody's car (lucky kid, I tell you)

Jamie, I had the same problem (initially) after I installed it on my T31. However, all it takes is to move the deflector forward a wee bit, so the pop-up mesh doesn't hit the plastic.

Oh well, at least Cody will enjoy it emoticon

Re:

Hi Stephen,

I tried it all the way forward and it still hit. The only solution was to have the pop up mesh come up behind the lip and that put the front edge almost on the front window.

I'm sure he will enjoy it very much. Thanks, I'll make sure he know's who to thank for it as well.

Re:

Jamie,

The wind deflector is fine for all T31s and T30s with a sunroof, on the T31 the alignment point is the roof antenna, so the back edge of the wind deflector needs to be almost touching the base of the roof antenna to allow the factory pop-up mesh to rise-up.
