Re:

Well done Jamie and looks like you scored an awesome deal with all this stuff thrown-in.

I see you mentioned the Stebel Horn and was wondering why you didn't remove it from the T30 (if you had one that is)?

Can I also suggest that you forget about fitting the headlight protectors. They do nothing but scratch the headlight lens and trap all the dirt behind them which would certainly speed-up the yellowing of the headlight lens.

As for the bonnet scoop, why do you wanna give the Subaru guys the satisfaction? hahahaha emoticon

Re: Rex

Indeed it does have a shiny chrome Stebel (replaced 2 months ago) but seeing as how Cody got the car off me most everything will stay with it. Beside, as it's all wired in with relays and seperate bypass switches, would be too much of a bother. Maybe if I traded it in or sold it privately to someone not family I might have considered it.

Don't think I'd really consider the bonnet scoop for looks only and have it stuck on and at this stage, can not see me wanting to put holes in the bonnet to let the air get into the motor. Just vocalising a thought Loafer and I had when he looked at the car.

Headlight covers removed - thanks for the advice.

Any other mods I haven't thought of?

Mr. Loafer can try it on his T31 first, chances are it will be easier to find a used bonnet for his exy than your brand new one LOL emoticon

Any other mods I haven't thought of?

* Steering Wheel Lights On
* CVT Selector Lights On

And a mod in the Full Members Section which am sure you will soon be looking for after getting used to (or not) to the CVT when compared to the T30 auto transmission.

P.S. Have you checked the version of the maps in your GPS? Are they the latest maps or still the 2009 ones?

Re: Rex

Went for a drive this afternoon to see how Rex handles the hills.

When leaving the CVT to do it's own thing was not too bad but even better using it manually!

Checked out the hill descent as well, seems kinda useful, save a lot of footwork.
