our new Xtrail
Jacqueline, myself and our dog Ruby {she goes everywhere with us} picked up our brand new XTrail from the dealer yesterday. She is pretty dam cool even if I do say so myself :]
Did our first 100k's yesterday to check her out. I haven't owned a new car since 1992 {Subaru sportwagon GL} and Jac has never owned one so I figured it was about time!
OK, the car: 2011 ST 2.5 litre petrol engine with CVT. Colour is snowstorm and we have had her kitted out with the following genuine Nissan irems:
Fog lights, Driving lights, Nudge bar, Roof racks, Kayak carrier, Tow bar, rerar protection tray, Rubber floor mats, Left side boot draw, cargo net, XPack extreme paint and fabric protection. We have also had the 35 %tint applied to the glass. Front seats fitted with black Ilana Platinum Cloud sheepskin seat covers and for the back seast a black waterproof dog blanket from superceap auto for Ruby. Reading through some of the forum comments about no glove box light I purchased a rechargeable very compact torch which fits snuggly into the power socket where the cigarette lighter used to be.
Will pobably fit her with a UHF radio and a bash plate kit too Christmas presents} The 3 Amigos are now in business.
Well that's it! now the fun begins. We have nicknamed her the DogTrail!!

Hi Terry
Mate thats great. I hope you Jacqueline, and your dog enjoy you new car as much as I enjoyed my first Nissan X Trail back in 2003/4. My old X Trail was so good and still is I kept it and have bought a brand new X Trail Ti. I picked it up last Monday 30th. The dealed gave me a nudg bar driving lights and everything I asked for thrown in? How luck is that! Happy motoring mate, Cheers, Haz.

Re: our new Xtrail
I think the reason i didnt get anything is because i paid a very low price for the veh.
Dec 2011 ST 4x4. 6 speed with mettalic paint ,mats and full tank of fuel, $25,000 drive away so i didnt complain.

Re:
That's exactly the reason mate! LOL
Sometimes it also depends as to the time of the month/year you approach the dealer to buy a car. They usually get very desperate to move old stock towards the end of the year and early into the new year
