Australian X-Trail Forum on Twitter

Image

Hi Guys,

No idea what this Twitter really is, but it's the only one left for our forum to join on the internet to keep-up with other organizations emoticon

Image

It seems Twitter and Facebook go hand in hand, so now that we have established our presence on FB, we might as well get our forum name on the board on twitter emoticon

Anyway, if you're a Twitter fan and know how it works, you're more than welcome to become a "follower" of our twitter page which can be found HERE

Re: Australian X-Trail Forum on Twitter

Twitter is a kind of "what am i doing now" thing Jalal.

To have it followed you should be posting (tweeting) through the day or week saying what exciting events the AustralianXtrail is having or doing or planning.

Companies on Twitter use it to broadcast new products or people who have joined the company...a PR type of exercise.

Re: Australian X-Trail Forum on Twitter

Twitter site looks great.

I ended up with a Twitter account some time last year, only because I wanted to read something at a link I'd been sent. I looked in about once every two or three weeks.

However, during Cyclone Yasi, a friend said he'd post on Twitter, so I started following, then realised that various authorities like Qld Govt, local councils, ergon, cycloneupdate, etc were posting. It became a great source of information on what was happening during and after it all.

Quietened down a bit now of course. At least it's easy to "follow" and "unfollow" people or entities at one click.
