Re:
Hi Guys,
Happy to report that I have finished the 3 months medication course with complete success and haven't had a smoke at all for 3 months now.
I "think" I am cured, so now the challenge begins to loose all that extra weight I did end-up getting as a result of my continues raids on the fridge at home. hahahaha
Feeling much healthier at moment and the damn food tastes so much better now....which could be a problem LOL

That sounds "Spicey" LOL
I might wait for The "Red" bull to arrive first before I commit suicide with that red tea. hahahaha

Re:
Sorry mate, you can't regard yourself a smoker if you don't light-up anymore. You'll be offending the smokers if you say so LOL
You can say you are an ex-smoker. I just say "I don't smoke anymore"
Little chubby eh? I will keep that in mind. hahahaha

Re: The best thing I have ever done!
As an 'ex' I can fully appreciate what you're going through. And what you've yet to go through...
Well done!
I can sort of understand where Stephen is coming from though. After 10 years I still wouldn't trust myself to take a single puff as my system would jump for joy and I'd be hooked again.
Keep it up J! You're so much better without it.

Re:
Thanks Andy,
What do you mean by "you've yet to go through"?
What could ever be worse than the withdrawal symptoms I have experienced on some days? I think for me personally, once the decision has been made, it all started to make sense after that and the medicine I was taking only encouraged me to continue not smoking.
I know what you're saying and in all honesty I still like the smell of a smoke when walking past someone smoking, but I hate the smell of someone who just finished having a puff and I can't believe I was smelling like that.
The other big bonus is the pay-rise I gave myself at the end of the month, I look at my account and can't believe that that money was all wasted on smokes before

Re: The best thing I have ever done!
Hey Jalal,
Just be strong mate. For a while yet you'll keep encountering "triggers". Events where in the past you would do something, and then light up afterwards. The brain is a tricky little bugga and it will remember that, and remind you.
The hardest fight in terms of heavy cravings is over for you. Now its just those little niggles that keep popping up by surprise. And those moments when your guard is down, and your mouth just starts watering. You don't always know why it started, but you know what it wants.
As you know, there's too many benefits to having stopped, to consider going back. You're a legend Jalal, for doing what you've done - and are doing. Keep up the great work!
I should get a photo of my trophy - an old ashtray of mine. I put the date I had my last puff onto it as a trophy for having won that fight.
