back door on 2009 2.0 dci how to remove plastics


hi
can anybody help me on info how to remove the plastics on the inside of the back door pls.

i need to replace the number plate light cluster , but cannot get to the bolts

Do you want to replace the chrome bit which is above the number plate or are you trying to replace the number plate lights?

You will need to remove the back door trim which is held in place by plastic clips as seen in the photo below:

You will then be able to access the nuts holding the chrome finisher handle in place:

By the way, for anyone else reading this who wants to only replace the number plate lights, you don't need to remove anything as the number plate lights housing come-off from the chrome finishes just by inserting something thin to pop them out and get to the bulbs.
