Supercheap have a 20% sale on DBA rotors (including customer orders on the slotted rotors), ending tomorrow. I'm about to head over and put a deposit down.

I was quoted 'around $250' for the pair, so it works out at about $100 each.

Re:

A year later with the DBA T2 Slotted rotors & very happy with the results.
None of the shuddering issues the factory rotors had. Yes when heating them up you can "feel" the difference of a slotted to a flat rotor which I guess was what my mechanic was suggesting but I'm happy to feel they are working rather than melting as seems to be the case with the factory rotors.
Thanks for the heads up guys.

Re: T31 X-Trail Brake Pads & Rotors

Anyone know the difference between the Bendix DB1946 and DB1333 model front brake pads?

This is what i get from Bendix's site for the brake pad selection - Image

This seems to indicate that there is a bit of overlap between the 2 different types of pads. The only physical difference i can see is slightly different tabs...

The DB 1333 is for the T30 models. You'll need the DB1946 ones for your T31

Reggie is correct. The T31 part numbers are all listed in the first post of this thread. The T31 shares exactly the same rear pads with the T30 model, but the front brake pads are different.

Unfortunately they are not the only ones with wrong/old info. I went to one of the tyre shops in town and their computer had the 215/60R17 tyre size instead of 225/60R17 for my series 4 T31.

Re: T31 X-Trail Brake Pads & Rotors

Just a quick question are you guys replacing your rotors out of choice or are they worn out? And if they are worn out how many klms did you get out of them. I am getting my rear pads changed and rotors machined on Monday for the first time after 109000 klms.

Re:

Choice for me too.

To be honest, I wasn't that impressed with the braking performance in mine, particularly pedal travel and slightly spongy feel, even after the brake flush at the 40,000 service.

I now have the slotted rotors and Bendix 4WD pads and the performance gain is awesome. Now my wife's exy feels like mine used to (in comparison).
