Re: T31 X-Trail Brake Pads & Rotors

Blue box will be Bendix CT. You want Bendix 4WD.

Re:

Todd, is correct. The Part number is the same for the General CT and 4WD, so you need to ask for the Bendix 4WD (red box) pads when ordering. Shown HERE

Hi Guys,

Created this thread to specifically list part numbers and after-market options for the T31 X-Trail, the brakes and rotors for which are different than the T30 models (FRONT only).

I will keep adding to this post the part numbers as I come across them:

FRONT

* T31 X-Trail Front Brake Pads - Bendix 4WD - Part Number DB1946
* T31 X-Trail Front Brake Pads - EBC Ultimax Heavy Duty - Part Number DP1954
* T31 X-Trail Front Brake Pads - EBC 6000 GreenStuff - Part Number DP61954
* T31 X-Trail Front Rotors - ACDelco Vented - Part Number ACDR1220
* T31 X-Trail Front Rotors - RDA Vented - Part Number RDA7882
* T31 X-Trail Front Rotors - DBA Standard - Part Number DBA2316
* T31 X-Trail Front Rotors - DBA Slotted - Part Numbers (DBA2316SL LEFT -DBA2316SR RIGHT)
* T31 X-Trail Front Rotors - DBA Street Series T2 Slotted - Part Number DBA2316S (2 required)

REAR (The T31 shares exactly the same rotors and brake pads with T30 models)

* T31 X-Trail Rear Brake Pads - Bendix 4WD - Part Number DB1509
* T31 X-Trail Rear Brake Pads - EBC 6000 Series GreenStuff - Part Number DP61955
* T31 X-Trail Rear Brake Pads - EBC 4000 Series GreenStuff - Part Number DP61666
* T31 X-Trail Rear Rotors - ACDelco Solid - Part Number ACDR1221
* T31 X-Trail Rear Rotors - RDA Solid - Part Number RDA7657
* T31 X-Trail Rear Rotors - DBA Standard - Part Number DBA574
* T31 X-Trail Rear Rotors - DBA Slotted - Part Numbers (DBA574SL LEFT -DBA574SR RIGHT)
* T31 X-Trail Rear Rotors - DBA Street Series T2 Slotted - Part Number DBA574S (2 required)

Hi Jalal, just curious to know why on the DBA Street T2's you say "2 x required"? Are they two piece or something different than a stock build rotor?
Cheers,
Phil

Just thought I'd throw in some Remsa part numbers for a T31 (this is just off their web catalogue)

0876.01 rear
1318.00 front

Have used the 0876.01 on my T30 rear brakes and seem pretty good esp considering the price, 650C rating and not much dust or noise

Well Jalal was kind of right with my EBC/RDA combo from the front - when they're cold, I get a bit of vibration. Once they get warmed up, no problems at all and they're awesome.

Might get the rotors machined, and just slap a set of bendix pads on.

Have to replace rears now, as they've nearly worn out (probably from all the crap I carried in my boot on my outback trip.

Were the rears original or replaced before the trip?

My Bendix 4WD and DBA rotors combo is still doing the business. No worries at all.

Rears are still OEM ones. Last service the pads were <3mm and got noted that they may need changing soon.

Fair enough. I changed mine at around 50,000km. Probably a little quicker due to towing boat and camper.

Try the Remsa pads, just fit them and see how it goes, same price or not much more than the Bendix pads and better IMO. Machine the rotors if you still have vibration issues after that

Remsa pads on the rear were great on the xtrail doing 4000kms towing a trailer on my recent holiday
