posticon 2012 Australian X-Trail Forum Wall Calendars

Hi Guys,

Due to popular demand, we will be doing the 2012 forum calendars, so you better start organizing it pretty early, so I can submit the order by July-August, 2011

This thread has been started to give you the opportunity to submit the very best photos you have for consideration and inclusion into the 2012 forum calendar.

Here are the rules:

1. Each member is allowed to submit upto 4 photos (pls. edit your post to include additional photos, rather than posting each photo separately under a new reply).
2. ALL photos must be high resolution. Low resolution photos will not considered at all.
3. All photos are to be hosted through PhotoBucket (you can upload your high resolution versions there with no problems)
4. ALL photos to have the rego plates edited out.
5. All photos to be submitted by 30th of June, 2011
6. Please include location and (month, year) where the photo was taken. This will be used as a caption in the calendar to describe your photo.

This year we will do a very quick voting process and will select 4 photos to be included on each page of the calendar per month, so it means that 48 members will be featured in the calendar.

The final price of the calendars will remain the same and it will be approx. $35.00 per calendar.

When submitting photos, please confirm the number of calendars you wish to order (VERY IMPORTANT)

P.S. International members are more than welcome to take part in this activity and submit their photos for inclusion as well. Our forum and its calendar is available to all xtrailers world-wide.

Please start adding your photos now. emoticon

I would love to see some international pics showing some landscape which is typical of the country the member comes from.

Re:

By the way guys, you can edit the submitted photos up until one week before the deadline, but please make sure you do that in the same post where the pics were submitted.

For example: You might only have 2 pics now and you may want to add another 2 pics later OR you want to change 2 of the 4 submitted pics (or all 4) before the deadline.

Depending on the number of submitted pics by the deadline, I might consider dedicating a whole month page to international members photos to make sure we get maximum variety of xtrail photos and different landscapes.

Re:

Hi Guys,

The participation rate of members in this thread is a real concern and it gives me the impression that not that many members are interested in these calendars after all, so I might re-consider this whole venture, as it takes quite a lot of time and effort in making these calendars and I don't want to see these efforts wasted!

Re: 2012 Australian X-Trail Forum Wall Calendars

C'mon Jalal have some patience and give us some time !
It is only 1 month into a 6 month period before the deadline and most of us have just gotten back to work and not sorted out our weekend routines yet to have any trips.

Re:

Well Kev, June is just around the corner and we will soon say "Hi" to March, so if the rate of photo submissions continues the way it is, I doubt we will have enough photos to make a calendar. The whole point of asking for photos in January was to have you guys share your holiday photos and photos collected for over a year since the last calendar. If there are only 4 members waiting to snap that special moment, am afraid that's not enough.

Am gonna wait until June of course and will make a decision then.
