These were all taken last year in the Chillagoe region of Far North Queensland. This one was taken just across the causeway at Chillagoe on 30 March 2010, no I didn't do the road, but there's a pretty good river (The Walsh) about 30km out of town. This was taken on the Ootan Road near Almaden in April 2010, no, haven't done the distance on this one either (rainy season came too early). This one taken end April 2010, and yes I have travelled this road a few times, between Petford and Herberton via Irvinebank. This last one was in August 2010 by the causeway at Almaden. nondisclosed_email@example.com (trailx)Thu, 24 Feb 2011 19:27:26 +0000 Re:https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2050134,from=rss#post2050134https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2050134,from=rss#post2050134All fixed Jalal Regards Scotnondisclosed_email@example.com (freewill11)Thu, 24 Feb 2011 19:27:13 +0000 Re:https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2050133,from=rss#post2050133https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2050133,from=rss#post2050133Hi Julie, Not sure about the ratio as they end-up being cropped to suit the layout anyway. The resolution is the most important bit to me.nondisclosed_email@example.com (jalalski)Thu, 24 Feb 2011 18:11:34 +0000 Re: 2012 Australian X-Trail Forum Wall Calendarshttps://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2050132,from=rss#post2050132https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2050132,from=rss#post2050132Jalal, what ratio do you want our pics - standard point & shoot digital image size, 6x4, 3x4? Or will you crop them anyway. I have a couple which are pretty tight and may not be suitable for cropping.nondisclosed_email@example.com (trailx)Thu, 24 Feb 2011 16:22:04 +0000 Re:https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2050131,from=rss#post2050131https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2050131,from=rss#post2050131Sorry Guys, Forgot to mention that each time you add an additional photo, please do so by editing your original post, so all photos you have submitted are in the one place under one post and your username.nondisclosed_email@example.com (jalalski)Thu, 24 Feb 2011 15:50:30 +0000 Re: 2012 Australian X-Trail Forum Wall Calendarshttps://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2050061,from=rss#post2050061https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2050061,from=rss#post2050061I've been on the road, in a manner of speaking, for two months and haven't done many things I ought to be doing. Tonight is the first night I've managed to have a relaxed read thru the forum for ages. January/February I've always found is a slow time of year. March is usually back to normal. I'm sure we'll have a big rush on posting pics soon. Will now be checking thru pics and will get some up in the next month.nondisclosed_email@example.com (trailx)Tue, 22 Feb 2011 00:56:58 +0000 Re:https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2049965,from=rss#post2049965https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2049965,from=rss#post2049965Well Kev, June is just around the corner and we will soon say "Hi" to March, so if the rate of photo submissions continues the way it is, I doubt we will have enough photos to make a calendar. The whole point of asking for photos in January was to have you guys share your holiday photos and photos collected for over a year since the last calendar. If there are only 4 members waiting to snap that special moment, am afraid that's not enough. Am gonna wait until June of course and will make a decision then.nondisclosed_email@example.com (jalalski)Thu, 17 Feb 2011 05:47:22 +0000 Re: 2012 Australian X-Trail Forum Wall Calendarshttps://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2049960,from=rss#post2049960https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2049960,from=rss#post2049960C'mon Jalal have some patience and give us some time ! For example: You might only have 2 pics now and you may want to add another 2 pics later OR you want to change 2 of the 4 submitted pics (or all 4) before the deadline. Depending on the number of submitted pics by the deadline, I might consider dedicating a whole month page to international members photos to make sure we get maximum variety of xtrail photos and different landscapes.nondisclosed_email@example.com (jalalski)Sun, 02 Jan 2011 09:27:27 +0000 Re: 2012 Australian X-Trail Forum Wall Calendarshttps://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2048851,from=rss#post2048851https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2048851,from=rss#post2048851You bloody little ripper Now just have to get clicking with the camera and submit some shots! quote:I would love to see some international pics showing some landscape which is typical of the country the member comes from. Here are the rules: 1. Each member is allowed to submit upto 4 photos (pls. edit your post to include additional photos, rather than posting each photo separately under a new reply). 2. ALL photos must be high resolution. Low resolution photos will not considered at all. 3. All photos are to be hosted through PhotoBucket (you can upload your high resolution versions there with no problems) 4. ALL photos to have the rego plates edited out. 5. All photos to be submitted by 30th of June, 2011 6. Please include location and (month, year) where the photo was taken. This will be used as a caption in the calendar to describe your photo. This year we will do a very quick voting process and will select 4 photos to be included on each page of the calendar per month, so it means that 48 members will be featured in the calendar. The final price of the calendars will remain the same and it will be approx. $35.00 per calendar. When submitting photos, please confirm the number of calendars you wish to order (VERY IMPORTANT) P.S. International members are more than welcome to take part in this activity and submit their photos for inclusion as well. Our forum and its calendar is available to all xtrailers world-wide. Please start adding your photos now. nondisclosed_email@example.com (jalalski)Sun, 02 Jan 2011 08:20:02 +0000
