Lismore Calling

I am yet to set a date for this but was wondering who would be interested in taking a run down to Lismore and having lunch at the workers club and catching up with some of our members down that way!

Wendy and myself are itching to get down there again!

Regards Scot

Sorry mate, I'm out of action between now and the new year with a wedding next week and then heading off for holidays.

If it is late in Jan, definitely could be tempted. emoticon

Im in, on a weekend that suits work commitments. I will see how Bungabee is today as my butcher heads out there every second weekend. Or we can maybe meet in Kyogle and have lunch out in the bush. There is a lot better driving out there, Toolum/Yabbra, Toonumbar etc. Im heading out that way in a Lux tomorrow so hopefully I will find something, I will hit my mate up to show me some good tracks as he works around the forests out there and has a few nice waterholes etc that arent found on maps that he takes his wifes forrester out to on weekends for picnics etc.

Going out today in the xy to look around, have a picnic etc. Yesterday was all work, so no exploring, but told to try a few tracks around Toonumbar State forest and dam, some of which Ive done each end but not the middle tracks.

I was just looking at catching up but if you all want to do some tracks then let me know what you want to do!

Click here for a trip we did down that way!

No beach work but just some good tracks to have a play on!

Regards Scot

Re: Lismore Calling

Im always keen for a drive but lunch only would be easier on a weekend Amies working.

Most of the tracks we did yesterday were what i would call touring except for one on the side of Toonumabr dam which means I have a 2 hr wash and some lantana scatches to polish out. There is a couple of new tracks to explore but Ive covered almost everything on the east side of the dam.

Maybe lunch and a trip to Bungabee might be the best option if we want a drive. Might be going up there tomorrow arvo to test an old man emu lift put on my mates Patrol, no xtrail but 3 runs in 4 days means I wont be complaining.

What about a meet up at Rover park so we can have lunch and a drive while we are at it?

The mud pit sounds interesting emoticon emoticon.

If we can organize it before Christmas we could have it as a Christmas break up!!!
