 **Recall**T31 X-Trail—Overstated GVM Specification on Compliance Label**
Hi T31 Guys,
There is a new recall which has been announced by Nissan Australia this week and it is affecting a number of T31s with an incorrect compliance label overstating the GVM.

What is the GVM printed on your compliance label? That way the other guys can tell if theirs is wrong.

The GVM plate is above the sill behind the passengers door and mine is printed 2100 as the GVM.
By the looks of the VIN numbers, the year models would be around the mid to late 2008 model, maybe even early 2009.
Could this mean that for those within the recall (higher GVM) would get cheaper rego due to the GVM coming down?
My rego papers have 2100 GVM printed on them and a tare weight of 1525 which could be the generic weight in the RTA's system.

I wonder if the overstated GVM on some xtrails caused them to pay more for rego (in NSW at least), which I believe is linked to the GVM and Tare Weight values on the rego papers as seen HERE.
