Re:

The exy goes for a assessment next Wednesday and straight to the repairers after that!

I have to drop it off there and then try and make my way to another suburb to get the hire caremoticon

Once I can get back into my photo bucket account I can post some pics but have lost the password and the email account i was using will not let me back in at all which is a buggeremoticon

Regards Scot

Re: Oh My

Well here are the photo's of the damage that was caused and all though it looks minimal, I have placed some arrows to highlight some of the damage done.

One photo in particular shows how far one of my park sensors has been dislodge!

The last one shows some potential problems with underneath the exy and I have put arrows in to show the concerns I have at this point.

Re:

That really is a bummer, we quite admired your rear end. Thank god for insurance hey. My prado was a magnet for being rear ended. I had someone run up my bum at the toll gates on the gateway, she said she didn't see me, "ah well hello I was in a big white Prado", the other time I was stopped at traffic lights, woman ran up my bum and when the lights went green I went through and pulled over to the side of the road and she kept going. My daughter rang Dave, while I chased her around kallangur, dakabin back around kallangur then down the highway where she kept pretending she was taking an exit then pull back onto the highway at the last minute. Dave told me to take the Buchanan Road exit as the cops were at the Bribie exit which they suspected if I stopped following she would take it and hey presto they were right. She tried to say she didn't know she hit me, the front of her car was pushed so far in it wasn't funny, she was also way over the limit, when I finally got to the police station and had a chance to get out and inspect the damage all I had broken was a plastic clip that cost me $2.60 to replace my towbar took the impact and when inspected underneath do chassis problem at all. Whether they be big or small 4wd's they certainly end up the better out of a sedan/wagon/ute - 4wd collision.

Re:

I believe what saved me the most with the damage was put down to 2 things.

1. the 35mm lift to the exy
2. The rear bash plate which took a huge hit and kept the rear more solid when the impact happened.

This guy could not run from me as he had steam coming out of his caremoticon
