Re: T31 Hyper Roof Rails WITH Lights (aftermarket accessory)
Hi Tony,
Good question indeed.
I have been fed this reason for not importing a T31 with hyper roof rails into Australia by Nissan, but since my last enquiry asking about the prospect of making the Series 3 with hyper roof rails available, it turns out that it has nothing to do with ADR compliance and they haven't imported it thinking there will be no demand for them.
They are compliant for off-road use only as it is the case with the T30 hyper roof rails which came standard with the T30 ST-R model and the ADR requirement is to have them operate with high beam through a separate switch.

Re: T31 Hyper Roof Rails WITH Lights (aftermarket accessory)
Hi Guys,
I am going a head with ordering 4 sets of these hyper roof rails, as the exchange rate is far too good to let this opportunity go. The T31 hyper roof rails will be available through the Online Shop for ordering to those who are interested.

Re: T31 Hyper Roof Rails WITH Lights (aftermarket accessory)
Hi Guys,
Order placed for 4 (FOUR) sets of the T31 Hyper Roof Rails only.
First come first serve basis and I already have a solid confirmation from Matt reserving one set, so that leaves 3 sets (if Stephen doesn't grab one as well).
I will update this thread with the expected availability date.

Re: T31 Hyper Roof Rails WITH Lights (aftermarket accessory)
No problems Stephen,
You guys (if you decide to do so) will be the very first in the world to colour-code the T31 Hyper Roof Rails
I can't show you any photos of how they would look colour-coded because there aren't any.
My suggestion to you is to receive them as they are and see if you gonna like to leave them in silver/black finish before you decide to colour-code them and if you still want to have them painted, you can ask the body styling shop who's gonna fit them for you to paint them as well.
Oh, I forgot to tell you guys that the fitting estimate I told you about (in my case) did include colour-coding, so if you gonna leave them un-painted, the fitting process will be about $200 cheaper. (in theory at least)
One set left! (Alan, where are you?)
