Re: T31 Hyper Roof Rails WITH Lights (aftermarket accessory)

Another thing that Tony mentioned, Jalal, was that if you are concerned that your installers may not be able to remove and replace the roof lining without creasing it, then perhaps they're not professional enough (surely, this sort of procedure is commonplace and shouldn't be mucked up?)
Tony must have misunderstood what my concern was when I talked to him, as my real concern is not getting the roof lining creased but GREASED with hand marks all over the place and I know it is almost impossible to remove stains from our roof (same like the T30). I also asked Tony if it was possible to only remove the edges of the roof lining and access the bolts that way, he said that may cause the lining to crease. I know for a fact that the rear bolt of the roof rails can be accessed without removing the roof lining, as it is the same bolt used in the T30 to fit the factory spoiler and you only need to remove the plastic trim in the boot area to drop the roof lining a little at the back of the car.
Anyway, all of these comments and exchange of ideas is positive and only helps provide a better understanding of how the hyper rails are fitted. I never got the chance to see how the hyper rails were fitted on my T30 except knowing that it took them 2 days to do so, so for your installers to do it in a matter of hours and for half the cost, it is a top effort indeed.

From the body shop Jalal as I do like to ask first so they can take shots when required if possible!

Scot,
I think Stephen is referring to your offer to post photos of your own (original) roof rails, so we can see them up-close and the clips they have on the base. I don't think you need permission from anyone for that

Hi Stephen,
Have you had the roof racks fitted to your hyper rails as yet?
