Maybe the silver paint is a little thin meaning he could see through to the black plastic underneath.

Try powering up the spot lights before connecting to the roof and you will see what I mean. Apparently, with the spotties switched on, light emits from the length of silver plastic. This is what Tony (Perfection Bodyworks) discovered before he colour-coded the rails.

Hope this clears things up for you, Jalal.

Re:

Received the cross bars for the hyper rails from the UK. They look very nice and much more professionally made than the T30 cross bars I have on the T30 exy. Came with fitting instructions too.

Alan: The box containing the cross bars is 118cm (L) x 12cm (W) x 7cm (H) and it weighs about 1.5Kg

Jalal,
Do you think it will be easier to do the cutouts required for the cross bars before or after the Hyper Rails are fitted?

Re:

It doesn't really matter, as the 4 pieces which require cutting are easily removable. They're only covers for the screws base anyway. I was going to ask you to check with the dealers in Sth Africa as to the cost of the blank covers (4 of them) for the hyper rails, just in case we need to remove the cross bars, so we could slot the standard blanking covers back on (without these cut-outs).

Re: T31 Hyper Roof Rails WITH Lights (aftermarket accessory)

The spares parts guys are quite willing to help but we'll get a much better price if we can give them a part number, such is the strange way things work here.

Strange indeed. No problems, I will try and get a part number from the UK.
