Hi Dave
Your from my old stomping ground (EX brisbane Exy).
Can you compare this on your T30, I'm thinking it may be a universal type mod?
The T31's are a larger assy but it should be the same process.
Cheers
Les
I ordered some 24cm LEDs from virtual village last weekend during their 25% off sale, I intended to use them as puddle lights under my doors on my T30, but now I'm having second thoughts.. I'm wondering how it will go with the blue lenses in the T30 - only one way to find out...

Re: Angel Eyes
Top job Les,
The parkers look like they will outshine the headlight now.
Very well done mate, hope they last now.
Les, you should copy this into the DIY section and create a new DIY.
This will be a very popular mod indeed.

No need for that as I have asked Les to keep the DIY Guide within this thread for future questions and I have linked it to the main DIY Guides thread HERE
Well done Les.

Re: Angel Eyes
Hi Les -looks great job well done.
I have a question and might be silly although never down anything like this - do you need to disconnect battery or take the fuse out for the headlights before the cutting/soldering?
thanks
Samuel

Re: Angel Eyes
Hi Samuel
The Mod is a Plug and Play type.
See the first photo of the guide. This shows the bulb holder, removed from the lamp assembly and disconnected from the wiring loom. The white block on the end with the wires attached is a LED bulb I made up (see photo back in thread). This is where the park bulb normally sits. You could simply wedge the wires under the bulb to connect the LED strip to the 12v supply. Any soldering to attach the strips wires to a LED T10 (T10 being the type of bulb used in the park lamp) base can be done away fom the vehicle. This allows you to work on the assy without being tangled by the wiring loom.
When I first tried the Led strip I had the bulb hanging in the engine bay by Zip Ties
Cheers
Les

Hi Samuel
No cutting or fuse removal
Hi Les you lost me at the above, although im hoping that when I pull out the bulb out, it will be like a bulb went off in my head - you know the type like the ones in the old cartoons!
