Re: Saturday 3rd July MT Mee

The area is pretty tame John. Here is the map link:

Print it in colour before you go. I would not attempt the A-Break in the X-Trail. Jacky Creek Rd purple track is do-able, and very fun. Just take it slow and you'll be right. Take someone else if you'll feel more comfortable.

Would you recommend making sure you're with at least another vehicle before taking on the area, even in good/dry conditions?

If you are staying on the main ring road, or the well formed tracks, being out and about by yourself isnt a big problem. Its pretty well visited, and help if required will normally not be far away. I have done a few laps by ourselves, and no dramas at all (on the main roads)

If you intend on trying some of the harder tracks, in the wet or dry, I would recommend being with another vehicle, it does allow you to try some of the more "adventurous" tracks, and still be able to recover if required.
