I haven't been on those roads near there since about 03 or so. However, do that run again on September the 25th or 26th and I should be around there somewhere. Or some other run near Brissy at least! nondisclosed_email@example.com (scarey77)Sun, 20 Jun 2010 23:57:13 +0000 Re: Mt Mee Forest Trail, Brisbanehttps://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2043254,from=rss#post2043254https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2043254,from=rss#post2043254You missed out Scot! It was a great day. Next time hey - hope you and the wife are feeling better. I intend to do a few things to the exy, one of which is some bash plates. Great to meet you too. Only trouble was a lack of clearance on some of those steep gradients. No real dramas otherwise. Car handled well and just used 4WD Auto mode - no issues with that. It's a great spot to do some beginners tracks, with a few difficult ones thrown in. Not to mention some sensational scenery. nondisclosed_email@example.com (thompsco)Sun, 20 Jun 2010 14:46:06 +0000 Re: Mt Mee Forest Trail, Brisbanehttps://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2043240,from=rss#post2043240https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2043240,from=rss#post2043240Just a short note on yesterdays trip....met up with Brendan and Camilla no worries, and had a nice run around the Mt Mee area. This would be by far, the best drive and offroading I have done in the Xtrail...well within the capabilities of the car, but still giving it a decent work out. Great hill climbs and decents, some fairly good camber and a bit of water. I am also biased though, its 20 minutes from home A-brake was interesting, no way in hell would we have got through there if it was really wet...my map reading skills need to be updated as well. 3 hour drive and ended up where we started Only have photos of the post activity cleanup.....my son loved it, and also helped clean up. I will be aiming to get back out there real soon.. Thanks for the invite Brendan...pleasure to meet both of you. Willliam had a ball....and loved eating all your chips. According to my map of the forest from the Qld Gov website, that's the southern most start of the trail. I really haven't been in the area at all, we'll be travelling from the Indooroopilly area so will go through Mt Coot-tha.nondisclosed_email@example.com (thompsco)Fri, 18 Jun 2010 09:11:53 +0000 Re: Mt Mee Forest Trail, Brisbanehttps://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2043168,from=rss#post2043168https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2043168,from=rss#post2043168Laceys Creek Road, Dayboro end? Times/details TBC. Cheers Brendan "Australian Xtrail" is just a web site. We are not a club or organisation, we have no membership fees, and therefore no insurance. If you join in a meet-up it is simply akin to like-minded individuals driving the same road. Your car is your responsibility. All meet-ups are in no way an official or a formally organised trip by the Australian xtrail forum or anybody on this forum. Therefore all risks associated with such a function would need to be considered by each and every driver/owner attending. (this includes and is not limited to the after-adventure night gathering ) I just want to remind everyone to check their car insurance policies are up to date, especially for off-road excursions. nondisclosed_email@example.com (thompsco)Tue, 15 Jun 2010 20:49:21 +0000
