Hi Guys,

As the title suggests, a new legislation is now in place in NSW which will prevent "repairable write-offs" from being auctioned, repaired and sold in NSW.

For me personally i couldn't be happier with this news.

I bought a toyota corolla Sportivo last year which set me back near $20,000 second hand. Lovely fast sporty car and i was getting a good deal as well with quite low k's.

Little did i know at the time of purchase that it had been in a hectic rear ender and most of the back half had been replaced. Wasnt a repairable write-off but damn close.

So pissed off when i found out about it cause the guy told me it have never seen an accident and he was the original owner.

Anyways my 2c and im happy to see it legal now and help others when making their car purchases and stop un truthful sales in the used car market.
