Hi Scot,

Thanks for the invite. It is much appreciated.

I have never been on a forum trip before, but just acknowledged Jalal's conditions with the link on your original post.
It would be only myself as my wife will have to take care of the kids. Their a bit too young for such a bumpy ride.

My wife also made me tell you guys that I do not have much off-road experience (apart from some beach driving) so to be gentle with the car, it is mostly hers after all.
Could you please let me know the actual address were we suppose to meet.
And last two questions / request, how long should I allow myself getting there from Robina on the Gold Coast and could I have (via pm) your / some else’s mobile no in case I get lost.

Scot, if Ty is from the Coast, we would be better off going straight there.

Ty, if you come up the motorway and pull off at Price st Nerang to the left. Go through Nerang and turn right on Beaudesert Nerang rd and head towards Canungra via Mt Nathan and Glagiraba. Go through Canungra, Benobble and when you get to Wonglepong, turn left on Beaudesert Nerang road. If you miss it, keep going to Beenleigh Beaudesert rd and turn left, both of these streets take you directly to beaudesert.

The memorial is approximately 68 Brisbane st, Beaudesert, on the corner of William st and Brisbane st for the Navman if you have one.

When you get there, look around for a bunch of Xtrails, it's sure to be us, if not try to rope them in to coming along for a drive.
