Basic rule of thumb is if it doesn't have a gate the track probably doesn't go more than 100m or so to nowhere.

They usually dump a load of soil at the entrance to stop vehicles entering, its a lot cheaper that having and maintaining a gate.
They have alot of these down Menai way.
As for where it goes, there is only one way to find out.
