Oregon Scientific Cameras

Hi Guys,

Yesterday I got an email from the Catch Of The Day website advertising a deal for the Oregon Scientific on board digital camera and while I didn't buy it, I did a bit of research about the different models available and saw video footage taken with it and I must admit am really impressed and really tempted to get it now.

I think this camera will be perfect companion for any off-road action, as all you'd need to do is strap it around your head or hat and away you go emoticon

It's waterproof too which means it can be used under water.

Just the thing for those river crossings then.

Re: Oregon Scientific Cameras

I liked the link to the suction-mount camera mounts Alan posted in Cam's thread. I reckon they're a much better alternative to the head-rest mount my mate made up, as they can be mounted anywhere inside the car (well at least on any window), or outside if you're game emoticon

Re:

At only 4gb memory card and 32mb internal memory, wonder how much you would get to capture on it before having to change cards.

I thought about getting it but I must say the yellow one on the website Jalal posted looks better because it can take a 32gb memory card - enough for a good weekend drive.
