Just to clear my confusion re colour codes. I am going to fit a trailer brake control unit to my T30 it already has a towbar and 7 pin socket. The stop wire on the trailer pin 6 is RED. In other thread posts people talk of picking up a YELLOW wire near passenger door for the trigger wire and I see here its a PINK wire going to the stop lamps at the rear. Soooo if I were to just take a pick up from the RED wire pin 6 at the 7 pin socket for the brake control trigger that would be correct? ( I didn't want to pick up at the brake switch) I guess what I am asking is colour codes in car looms up to the manufacturer and can be anything as opposed to a standard such as Aust. trailer code. Thanks P.S. - Is there access to wiring diagrams on this site?
