Re: what is the highest km's on auto diesel you have ?

I think the diesels are a good choice if high mileage is anticipated.

Have to say I am happy with this vehicle.

I think I will wait 5yrs for #1 son to get his license and this just might be his first car!

Re: what is the highest km's on auto diesel you have ?

Hi all!

Does anyone else who owns a diesel auto have an opinion of it?

I have a manual but am doing more and more city driving and find that it is a bit of pain. Also my wife can't drive a manual, which could be seen as a good thing emoticon but downright inconvienient at times.

Since I like the car, I've been wondering about changing mine over for an auto version, but worried about losing its 'zippiness'. Are they good to drive?

Re: what is the highest km's on auto diesel you have ?

I've had my 08 T31 TL auto (33000km) for a couple of months now and i think it's a dream to drive very smooth and quite. The only bug bear i can think of is that the 6th gear will not engage on the freeway until you 120km suppose to be some type of safety feature, and the towing drops to 1350kg so no big caravans.

Fuel economy is about 9lt per 100km around town and it drops to 7.8lt on the freeway.
I think it's a birilliant car to drive (coming from a landrover).
