Sounds like the ideal time to christen "The New Beast" unless the boss lets me borrow the exy

Well the X-Trail got a good wash and polish yesterday - I think the first time this year! and I'll be able to prove the theory wrong that it rains just after you wash the car as the news predicted a week of sunshine for Sydney last night...

All ready to go, except I want to put the bash-plate back on, as I removed it to try to change the crank position sensor the other week...

Guys, just a heads up for the 15th.
Bring really warm clothing, even if the forecast is for 20 degrees in Sydney.

Today in Hampton (job site) it was blowing a gale, I reckon up to 80kms/h easy and only 5 degrees.
It's always cold as you reach Blackheath and Katoomba, and the wind comes from the west making it even colder.
brrrrrrrrrrrr!

Re: Dronus (Andrew) NSW Visit (Trip Confirmed 15/8/2009)

Thanks Tony, heated leather seats will get a good work out then emoticon

Depending what time we finish on Saturday i might be heading back down to Albury Sat night to pick up the family enroute to Adelaide on sunday.

Drove up the hume today, cant believe how good that road is! Baptism of fire driving in Sydney today, some very inconsiderate people on that expressway!
Very good set up though, pay $3.80 and the next thing you know you are right in the city, though tunnels etc. Adelaide could learn something from that!

Good thing is i can leave the car at the hotel and walk to where i need to work for the next few days, Looking forward to Thursday arvo when i knock off and get to start having some fun!

This is one big city.... Ive just been out eating my way through chinatown - awesome emoticon

Seen lots of X-Trails on the way up, one was towing a caravan heading south. I wouldn't have liked to be him - there was one ripper headwind for him heading south.

Look forward to meeting Y'all next week!

A

Now that I would like to see.
Maybe you could sew the X Trail cloth badge on the front of it Jalal and sell it through the shop or raffle it off on the day. emoticon

Hey guys.

We're probably 80% right to join this trip, just depends how Francine's chemo go. I may come alone with the girls to give her a break also.

So, who is leading the motley crew on this outing and has anyone done a recky or have local knowledge of this area.

Looking forward to getting the exy dirty again and hopefully getting an entry for the 2010 calender.
