OK then, doesn't look like it's gonna work out then, so maybe next time. I will be heading home from Melbourne on the 2nd of Jan as initially planned. I can't make the 30th of December because I will be in Phillip Island.

Hey Jalal,

My wife and I are taking our exy for its first "road trip" tomorrow, straight up the Hume for Sydney. We're heading back around the 29th at this stage and herading for Phillip Island as well as we have alittle holiday house there. Don't be surprised if I honk you down in your travels around the island!

BTW, Melb CBD driving is a pinch. Any road with a tram line, right turn from the left hand lane. Easy huh?? Signage a plenty, just do what the other gooses are doing, you'll fit right in.

Good stuff Eddie, look forward to meeting you in Phillip Island if you have time. I'll be leaving there on the 31st heading back to Melbourne to spend New Years with relos, so it'll be great to catch-up. Send me a PM and I'll give you the address where we're staying on the Island.

Re: Victorian members

Did the trip go ahead?

Once i have an Exy i would be happy to join in another easy vic trip.

FYI and refering to a earlier post in this thread. The Kelly tree is alive and well. I was on a CFA strike team that the had the job of saving the tree "at all costs" emoticon . I also camped near and visited the tree last easter, well after the fires.

Re: Victorian members

Yep the trip went ahead, I'm actually heading back to the Neerim South area with the club next month, so if you wish to jump on board you will be welcome.

Our club also did the Mt Samaria area which included the Hollands creek area close to the Kelly tree, It's magic country around there, well worth another visit in the future.

Re: Victorian members

Thanks for the offer Johnsey,

Is it a 4wd or x-trail club? I would like to do a trip with other x-trails.

It would also be a 4hr straight drive to get there.

Cheers,

Adam
