Re: Boot/Cargo Windows

Hi Samuel,

Have a similar issue with my lab. It is as if the Cargo barrier needs to be a bit wider near the back windows. My dog wants to get through as well, but I keep the windows closed and point the rear air vent up to the roof so as the cool air blows into the rear cargo area. This seems to calm her down a bit.

Let me know if you have any ideas as i may take them up myself.

Cheers,
Andrew

Hi Guys,

This is the type of dog guard you need. It is wide enough to cover the width of the exy

Image

A pretty smart way of fitting it as well with no drilling required as explained HERE

Re: Boot/Cargo Windows

Hey Jalal,

Is this cargo barrier available in Australia or will we need the services of a emoticon special person to bring them in?

Re: Boot/Cargo Windows

Stephen,

They're available in the UK and I have only seen them for the T30, so am not sure if they make them for the T31.

P.S. It's not a "cargo" barrier by the way, so let us not confuse the two and keep this as a "dog" guard solution emoticon

Suits me even better emoticon as we are planning to get a staffy pup after we get back from our trip.

I'll keep my eyes and ears open and wait to see if anything becomes available over here.

The T31 dog guard in this exact design will be released in 12 weeks.

Have you thought about 12v oscillating car fans that plug into lighter socket mounted to the barrier.Have kept the kids happy in one of my other vans this way.

Re: Boot/Cargo Windows

Hi,

These might be worth a look. They may help stop the dogs putting their nose out the passenger windows and also to help prevent smudges on the rear quarter windows. Should be good to stop bugs getting in as well.

I am planning on getting some myself, so will report back once fitted.
