Re: Ti T31 Audio bluetooth stuck on "telephone" Just an update:
If I have my phone (HTC Desire) bluetooth enabled then sit in car and start car the Radio says "Telephone", beeps etc and pairs just fine.
If the phone is removed from the car (eg in pocket and I get out to close shed door) briefly then the radio locks itself into "Don't know whats going on" and will not pair again until the battery main lead is disconnected.
This update is to say the disconnect at the battery (-ve lead is easiest) needs to only be about 1 second.
I've noticed this short disconnect fixes the problem and the clocks etc aren't reset to 12:00.

Re: Ti T31 Audio bluetooth stuck on "telephone" I also have the same phone (HTC desire) and occasionally i have this problem. Usually its just a matter of turning the ignition off and back on, but once the only solution was to disconnect the battery.

Re: Ti T31 Audio bluetooth stuck on "telephone" Hi guys, I just wonder if this is a one off or on going problem because I'm thinking to buy one from $150 (genuine one) from an ebay seller. Your urgent advice needed. Many thanks.

Re: Ti T31 Audio bluetooth stuck on "telephone" My genuine bluetooth kit is a very well made and complex device that integrates very well with the stereo head unit.
I have a T31 ST-L and when a call or message comes in or I initiate something the stereo sound fades out and the phone audio comes up beautifully. It's also very clear/good microphone etc.
However, if I ever leave the car with my phone in pocket and motor running (eg open garage door) then I will most times need to get the 8mm (I think) spanner I keep in the dash storage, open the hood and disconnect -ve Battery lead for 2 seconds.
I've got into the habit of not having phone on me when getting in car but in the man-bag or on seat etc.
I'm taking battery lead off about once every two months now (when I forget phone in pocket).
Irksome - but I would still get the factory unit.
