I have never once felt that the floor sagged in any way with the 3 of us jumping in the back. I don;t think you will have aproblem with the dog mate. If you do replace it with some MDF (medium density fibre board) or particle board, then you have to use a thick board say 16 or 18 mm thick. That would mean a good 20-25kgs extra weight that your carrying around. Any thinner and it will be worse than the standard floor. Do as Jalal says, buy the rubber mat and be done with it. nondisclosed_email@example.com (cooch t31)Mon, 26 Jan 2009 05:53:05 +0000 Re: Floor in cargo areahttps://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2022839,from=rss#post2022839https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2022839,from=rss#post2022839I want something a little stronger than the standard floor. Our puppy is only 6 months old and already weighs 20kg. Im guessing that hes going to weigh in at around 40-50kg fully grown so I want a floor that can sustain his weight. As for the wear & tear of jumping in and out, I was going to get the rubber tray to put ontop of the new floor. nondisclosed_email@example.com (Mr Xtrail)Sun, 25 Jan 2009 21:58:53 +0000 Re: Floor in cargo areahttps://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2022830,from=rss#post2022830https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2022830,from=rss#post2022830Why don't you get the rubber tray for the boot area from Nissan instead?nondisclosed_email@example.com (jalalski)Sun, 25 Jan 2009 20:24:49 +0000 Floor in cargo areahttps://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2022828,from=rss#post2022828https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2022828,from=rss#post2022828Hi All, I was wondering if anyone has replaced there floor in the cargo area - above the drawer (T31). I was thinking of replacing the standard with some MDF. The reason for replacing is due to the family dog! Samuelnondisclosed_email@example.com (Mr Xtrail)Sun, 25 Jan 2009 20:10:06 +0000
