Make sure you drill the hole as in the pictures on page 1 as it is the only spot where the globes will fit.

Hi Guru JALALSKI, I wonder if you could help with the combined brake/rear (tail) lamps on my 2006 t30: Hoping to upgrade to Philips LED, I merrily went ahead and bought P21 bulbs that have the common format, i.e. cylindrical base and offset socket location pins. Alas, I found that my car has non-universal wedge-shaped bulbs. Worse, here in Rio and even on Google, I can't find the part number for these unusual bulbs. Maybe I should try to find common sockets, cut the wires and connect up. Or maybe you or another Xy enthusiast could tell me which is the right bulb (preferably Philips having seen highly favourable reports on YouTube). One last thing, do you happen to know if the change to LED brake lights would cause the dreaded engine light to come on? I'd be very grateful for any advice you could impart. BRIAN
