Re:

My wife is calling ours Jeepy. No reference to the make, more a reference to a good looking 4 wheel chunkie car. I'll have to find another name though

Re:

I'm almost ashamed to say we do name our cars....and *looks down*....there are even rules.

Has to be a female name and it has to start with the make of the car..
in our X-trails case, her name is Nikki.
It's beyond me why, I just sit quiet for arguments sake.

Re: Does anyone name their car?

My mother, upon seeing my number plate said "Bowels Wide Open", which I would say is a fitting name - especially after my wife's comments on my going sideways in clay in Back Yamma State Forest on Saturday.

Yep, Bowels Wide Open, goes with my saying of "Hang onto your waste packet."

...End dream...

It is really just known as Daddy's car (what my wife says), or The Fourby (what Daddy says), give my near 3 year old son a choice - it's The Fourby.

Kids have named our, Kryten, from Red Dwarf, due to it's squarish/angular look.

Re: Does anyone name their car?

Well mines obvious, It's Augustus, but what you don't know is why.

Well I was delivered to Ferntree Gully Nissan in August, so Mum named me Augustus, Simple.

Now Dad had issues with me being a boy, as all his cars have been girls, reckons it makes it easier to coax them into life on a cold morning. But he loves me and has gotten used to my name.

Well off to get "Muddy" again, due for a wash so I'll get in a mud bath first, LOL, Say G' Day to ya EXY for me, Augustus the X Trail emoticon

Re: Does anyone name their car?

I haven't named one before this but I take delivery of my new ST 4WD tomorrow and he has been dubbed "Edward". The colour is Twilight and he's already sucking my bank account dry like a vampire.

Re:

Took delivery of my latest last August.
So, seeing as this is my second X-trail, and the first was named Forby, this one is called Forby2.
Kinda makes sense... :-)
