she beeped the horn and said "Horn sounds a bit girly... needs a name with Petunia".

It stuck... and was forever known as "Tuney" - short for Petunia... NEVER AGAIN!!!

The Patrol 4wd is known as "you b!tch"...... so I hate to think what the Xtrail is thoguht of as....

Probably a female dog!...too...... and the horn isn't that weak. The Mazda 3 MPS was rather ghey sounding too!

For some reason the missus dubbed our X-Trail "Chester". A few weeks on I'm still trying to figure out why........

My wife names all our cars. We've had "The Green Bean", "Scarlet" and "Miffy". The Exy is called "Zipidee"....hence my forum name.

Hi Guys,

We seem to have stopped updating this thread with our car names and according to THIS article, we're not alone emoticon

I haven't had the chance to have a one-on-one conversation with the Red Bull (T31) as yet, but I "kissed" my Chrome Beast (T30) goodbye and thanked her for the 8+ years of fun emoticon emoticon

Re: Does anyone name their car?

I play tennis at Punchbowl Thursday nights and have now and then seen a white exy in the carpark. I noticed last night that the rear cargo window displayed the name nissie (in bottom left hand corner) and the words pop mobile (in centre at top)

Perhaps a forum member??

I will try to find out the owner next time I see it.
