T31 bash plates (Full Undercarriage Protection Set)

I know there's a lenghty T30 bash plate thread and stock is limited now. But is there any word on a version for the T31 exy??

Reading up on the forum I thought it would be smart to install one/have one installed

Cheers,
PT

Re: T31 bash plate

PT,

The existing thread covers BOTH the T30 and T31 bash plates.

Start reading from HERE to find out the existing info about the T31 bash plate.

Alternatively, look at the shop page HERE

Existing T31 owners who have already bought and installed to their xtrails are welcome to add their comments and reviews about the T31 bash plate in this thread.

Re: T31 bash plate

PT,

Bought a bash plate for my T31 through the forum a few weeks ago after almost ripping the factory fitted plastic splash guards off on a couple of occasions. It was very easy to fit (if I can do it then anyone can). I hasn't seen any action yet but it certainly looks sturdy enough and other's in the forum sing it's praises. Definitely a worth while investment if you intend getting off the tarmac, if only for peace of mind.

Do it - you will have instant peace of mind. When you take off the plastic so called guard to fit the plate, you will wonder why someone took the trouble to put such a useless piece of plastic into production!

Re: T31 bash plate

Stephen - for the CVT vehicle you seemed to lose traction relatively easily.

1. were you in 4WD lock mode, ESP off?

2. what pressures in the tyres.
