WOW

Thanks guys & gals for the turnout. Was not sure when I asked Jamie to organise the trip how many members would be around being holiday time.

Best way I can think of celebrating the end of 2008, with a forum trip record-breaker emoticon

Re: Revhead Kev does O'Riellys

OK, so a little rain overnight to help dampen down the dust but should all be good.

Just finishing packing and then S.S.S before Thomas and I will be on our way to Jamie's house.

The wife is having a day in town catching up with friends she has not seen in years so as long as I bring home dinner there is no curfew (provided I don't get home at midnight emoticon )

Sorry to hear that Rob.

Next time something like this happens and you can't make it, you can always contact me by email or PM as I would have the contact details of the trip/event leader and can notify them or put you in touch with them.

Sorry to hear that Wendy & Robert ,
You missed a fantastic day out and we also had the Beaudesert times present to take the article and photos.

Stephen and myself took a calendar with us and I showed a few of the newer members what they looked like.

Watch for a trip report on this soon.

Regards Scot

A very big thankyou Jamie, for a great day out. Rose & I had a ball and it was great to meet up with everyone. We have some really terrific members from this area of the globe (as well as those who choose to visit us, too).

Well planned and executed emoticon emoticon emoticon

Can't wait to see what 2009 brings emoticon

Re: Revhead Kev does O'Riellys

I'll add my thanks to Jamie first, and everyone who attended as a close second. Great day's fun. It was lovely to meet you all, and Kristy, Jack Caitlyn and Paige all enjoyed the day... and they tell me that I'll be neglecting my husbandly and fatherly duties if we aren't attending more of these days into the future.

The Luxy Invader, Brenden, has asked me to pass on his sincere and vast thanks as well... he thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to take a drive with folk who are more interested in enjoying their equipment within sensible boundaries, as opposed to many he's encountered previously, who are intent only on testing their gear beyond sensible limits of endurance.

My only gripe was that I wasn't keen on bouncing the dear little thing up the first side trail we encountered, and instead chickened out... I'll certainly be hitting O'Reillys again in drier weather!

As an aside, we headed back to RBT unit... the attending constable was a real hoot, and we think we might have witnessed a failing grade across the road too...
