Maybe just maybe we could even use Jalal's exy as the baton.

Wouldn't you love that petrol bill and the K's added onto the car!

But seriously a flag with the forum logo that could attach to each 'runners' bumper, towball or maybe roof could be used as the baton. This way as the 'runner' is cruising along the forum logo can be proudly waved about and everyone can see who we are.

sounds like fun, anyone want to meet me in Tennant Creek one weekend, or Kununurra?? emoticon

Sure Julie, what are you doing July 10th / 11th? We should be in Tennant Crk around that time (maybe even arriving Fri 9th). It would be great to meet up emoticon

Jalal, any chance you'd like to make a trip up to sunny Brisvegas to arrive before our 5th July departure? Or anyone?

Not that it's probably worth mentioning, but I'll be in woomera in July, going for my high power rocket certification.

Looks like the center is getting popular!
I will be arriving Alice 10 July (coming from Qld), driving around the center a bit and leaving Alice around 8 August to go home via SA.
Happy to meet up with anyone in the area.

Hi Julie

No, I am planning to see the Plenty Highway (because I have already done Mt Isa - Tennant Creek and I now have a 4WD and want to be more adventurous)

Re: A National X-Trail Get Together

Hi folks. Are members still interested in a national get together or should we just have smaller trips etc. in each state/area as we have already done. I think a national get together would create a lot of interest & discussion on this forum. A few thoughts I had were : A get together in Forster NSW for say 4-5 days in March /April next year with a bit of beach & bush driving & also photo shoots & discussions & verbal trip reports each day. I realise it may be difficult for interstate members to attend but may be they could arrange a similar get together closer to home. It may be able to be coordinated together at the same time & contact arranged via this site.
