i love the idea of another trip, but the caves run is a little boring and one dimensional.

Barrington sounds great or maybe a play in the sand at Stockton or Boat Harbour (Kurnell)

Kurnell sounds like fun for sure. Haven't been there for ages and not sure if there are any sand dunes left. Last I heard was that the local council was exporting the sand overseas somewhere (Japan I think), so the area might be pretty level now with no dunes. Still, the beach area would be a pretty nice drive.

Re: any trips coming up

Hey all
I've been to Barrington Tops a few times now and every time I go there it seems to get flater and more graded by machines. More and more sections are closed off, I don't think you can get to Barrington House any more!
It's going to turn into a duel lane highway before you know it. Boring.

There is a great trek up at the Zig Zag railway which goes for around 60 odd kms, haven't been on it for a couple of years but may be doing it with a mate soon. I can check it out and it may be a possible day trip on day. ( for those who went on the Hunter trip, its very much like the Commision road part most of the way).

Re: any trips coming up

Tony,

Are you referring to the Newnes track we did with 14 xtrails HERE or is there another track up that way along the Zig Zag railway?

Re: any trips coming up

You go in behind the Zig Zag and turn left, and I think it meets up around Newnes, then you take another trek to head back the way you came from, something like that. Like I said, its been a couple of years and I don't know the way you guys went.
