Re: Qld's 6th & 7th December 2008

Jamie,

According to the Levuka web site, there are BBQs at camp areas A&B. Blocks of wood are available, just need to bring an axe and it is only to be used for cooking. Extra wood can be picked up from the paddocks if needed. But we must not bring our own from Qld. There is a fine if caught.

Lloyd

Well, we'll have to make sure we camp in A or B then.

A small axes is all we should need and hope we can get a campfire going.

Any former boys scouts coming along? emoticon

Jamie & Paul (and others)

Trouble is brewing at the shop this weekend (extreme staff shortages emoticon ) and I may have to work on Sunday.

I will try to get there, but if I don't - please accept my apology now. That bloody Murphy's law is really starting to tick me off 8( !

If we can't count on the army boys, (Paul and my friend Murray) then I think we'll be in trouble.

Paul,

We are thinking of leaving Friday night, so we can have a little sleep in emoticon .

I will give you a ring Friday afternoon, to confirm where we will meet you.

Cheers

Hey Megan,

Thanks for the vote of confidence! Will await your call.

TO ALL:

Just a note further to Scot and Wendy's comment in reply to the forest pass...

I have just spoken to NSW parks and recreation who have advised me that there will be the envelopes at the self-registration points. (will see to believe). Anyway, I have advised them that we'll be going through.

So as well as the $25 for the overnight camp/4wd park use. Please bring also $7 for the border ranges on the Sunday. (Please ensure that you bring correct change for both days)

If you have any questions please give me a call on my mobile.

Kiip smilin n drivin!
