Re: Hunter Range Trip - Nov 2008

I asked a mate if he wanted to come along, he is quietly confident of coming.
I'm sorry he doesn't have an Exy, he has a, ------well------ a Kia Sportage emoticon , there I said it.
I'm sorry, does this mean that I'll be banished from the forum !!!!!!!!
Might be handy having a 4wd with low range just in case. He and I have many 4wd trips under our belts and dare each other at attempting challenging feats.

If anyone has a problem with this please let me know.
Tony

Tony,

All are welcome no matter which type of SUV they drive as long as they're prepared to follow our forum rules on the day and abide by them.

Unfortunately, suddenly I am probably not able to come. You should mark me down as highly unlikely, Dave.

Needless to say, I am very disappointed.

(I just got some recovery gear for my birthday and was looking forward to an opportunity to use it too emoticon )

Jalal....if it wasn't for the fact you live over at the other end of the city to me, I just might take you up on the offer emoticon. If you change your mind...you know where we'll be.

As for the Kia....no sweat. I've done a few trips with a mate's Land Rover Disco. Hey Tony, does your mate also own a chainsaw????

Sorry to hear you won't be joining us Alex. Our list is now;

Chris & Emma (Dingomouse)
Dave (Zipidee)
Zhivan (stackator)
Russell (Rusky58)
Tony (cooch T31) plus mate (Kia Sportage)
Wendy (shoni)
Harish (Scorpion King)
Paul (PMcDermott) still to confirm

Alex: You should never intentionally want to "try out" your recovery gear.

Re: Hunter Range Trip - Nov 2008

Hey Dave, I thought I confirmed for this trip but here's another thread going on emoticon

LOL, I'm still in. emoticon (Have to test bashplate and ATR's)

I might have to buy hand held UHF radio before this trip I guess (if still had some budget after tyres).

Re: Hunter Range Trip - Nov 2008

Hi Guys,
just a reminder that in accordance with the forum rules, those of you wishing to attend this trip must state your level of 4wd experience, so please edit your post or re post.

Thanx, enjoy the long weekend, & Go Manly emoticon

quote:

2. ALL those attending a forum organized event to clearly state their experience level in off-roading. This needs to be added along with your confirmation of attendance by clearly marking yourself as (novice, moderate and experienced)
