Re: 'ESP OFF' warning in normal driving

I went and got a new fuse this morning and bingo problem fixed drove about 190 klm today and no esp light, next time I will read the post then check before I post. emoticon I should also say I know what blew the fuses I used my trailer about a week and half ago and thats nwhen the esp light started coming on so I think my next job is to check the wiring on that as it did the same to my other car about a month ago.

Re: 'ESP OFF' warning in normal driving

Mine started doing this yesterday, MIL light coming on solid as well as ESC and Slip lights. Resetting the error codes is the only thing that makes them go away, but they come back on pretty soon.

I was hoping for a brake light fuse being blown, but no luck.

I've cleaned the MAFS as I was getting error 102.

Would a faulty ESC sensor cause the MAFS to get confused?

Re:

Good(ish) news. I double checked with Ultratune and they strongly believed MAFS was faulty, but couldn't rule out wiring causing the issue.

Sourced a new MAF sensor, cleared the codes, and all good so far!

Re: 'ESP OFF' warning in normal driving

I've just started having the ESP lights come on during normally driving, and cruise control wouldn't engage (no flashing, just not engaging). I checked the stop light fuse, and sure enough it was blown (probably from a short on a trailer brake light). Nice to get such an easy fix.
