In the same boat as a lot of you here. After a tow bar for my '13 Xy but won't be shelling out the coin for a dealer to do it. Happy to get one from a wreckers and I have an auto electrician mate who can help. However if the wreckers are going to charge $300 for a used one and I can get one fitted for $550. Begs the question as to whether or not it is worth it.

Does anyone have any advice for the T31 diesel auto. Am looking at getting a Hayman reese, but unsure whether to get the the class 3, or the strongest class 4 towbar. As the maximum tow limit is 1350kg for auto diesels. However, does anyone know, if I put it in Manual mode, can I tow 2000kg? Should I just get the class 4 towbar? Does the 50mm hitch make a difference? Do I limit myself by only getting the class 3 40mm hitch?

Sorry, lots of towing newbie questions.....
