Yerranderie Overnighter Hi all,
When the weather warms up in spring I would be interested in an overnighter (camping) at Yerranderie. There is a free campsite with toilets and plenty of space. Fires are permitted and it is a nice drive in on easy dirt roads (via the Range Fire Trail).
*Limburners Flat might be a bit of a challenge for the X-Trail so I would stay away, particularly the steep climb out the other side.
There is a bit of history to the area as it was an old silver mining town with the Colong stock route nearby.
You can enter from Mittagong > Wombeyan Caves > Yerranderie
You can return home to Sydney via Oberon to mix up the trip. Lunch can be had on day 2 at Taralga.
Picture below of a trip I did on the bike (before X-trail)

Re: Yerranderie Overnighter I'd be very much interested in a camping trip as well Zhivan. It's been ages since we last camped out and I must admit, the previous camping experience was great.

Re: Yerranderie Overnighter Clare loves camping and we haven't been for a few years now, and as Joshua gets older, it will be alot less hassle (yes, I know Matt & Rach took Nixon out camping when he was very young ).

Re: Yerranderie Overnighter Thomas is 6 now and probably about time he went for his first overnight camping trip later in the year when the weather warms up.
Maybe I should get him used to it by trying a night in the tent in the backyard
