T-31 headlight adjustment

Does anyone know the headlight adjustment procedure for the T-31? There are two slotted bolt holes at the top but if I pull the whole thing forward (to lower the lights, an unsightly gap appears between the front lens assembly and the side fender. There is also one of those plastic "push in" fasteners at the top which wont fit back in if the assembly is moved from it's original position ... seems a strange design! I notice in the owner's manual, there is provision for electric headlight adjustment ... it just doesn't seem to be fitted, even on the Ti. John.

Re:

It's the diagram mate, marked A and B, 2 adjustment screws on the back of the head headlight.

Re: T-31 headlight adjustment

The adjustment screws are exactly the same across all T31 models with halogen headlights.

Here is the one from the Series 4 and 5 service manual showing them in exactly the same position:

I would have taken photos of my headlights but they will be of no use to you, as my headlights are the factory HID with auto levelling mechanism and I don't have these aiming screws.

Re: T-31 headlight adjustment

Okay all sorted but it looks like the manual has it the wrong way around as B & C are actually the inside/outside adjustments and as the diagram has pictures of what look like screwdrivers I was looking for screw heads not hex heads.

Thanks for your help Jalal and glad we got there in the end emoticon
