Re: T31 Exhaust upgrade

Dear Members,

As you can remember, I have posted the following offer previously:

quote:

jalalski wrote:

T31 Guys (petrol and diesel),

Hi-Tech and I are still waiting for a T31 volunteer who is willing to spare 2 days of their time and most probably drive to Bathurst to the Hi-Tech factory to enable us to design a cat. back and full exhaust systems for the T31 and determine the gains in terms of power and torque by having the T31 dynoed back in Sydney.

Hi-Tech are extending this offer to any T31 owner who will be able to keep the system on their xtrail for a nominal cost (very cheap of course) and this will also give the owner a chance to drive around with the system and report back any positives and/or concerns until the system is fully optimized.

If anyone is interested, please let me know and I can accompany you to Bathurst and spend a couple of days there with you at the factory, so we can record the progress of the upgrade and ensure everything is done to your satisfaction.

This offer is available to the first T31 owner that puts their hand-up and will not be repeated again!

I can now confirm that this offer is being extended to the first T31 X-Trail Petrol owner (manual or auto) and exactly the same savings and discounts will apply to whoever decides to take it up just like Andrew has experienced.

BE QUICK!!

Re: T31 Exhaust upgrade

I wish I could take this up but we live far away and I could only do it on a Saturday and Sunday because of work, So I am hopeful someone will put there hand up.

Re: T31 Exhaust upgrade

Hi Guys,

Can anyone with T31 petrol exy please take some pics of the under-carriage showing the exhaust system set-up you now have. I would like to know if you also have the cat. converter under the car like the T31 diesel or if there is an additional resonator inline.

That's OK, thanks mate. We'll have a few petrol T31s with us tomorrow for me to look at. Thanks for the offer though.

G'day Jalal

Don't know if this pic is any good, but this link shows the underbelly of an unfortunate T31 (thanks to Scot for finding the story) emoticon
