Belanglo State Forest
Hi all, my first outing in the x-trail belanglo state forest,
It is a very good beginer track with few steepish inclines and decents, and couple of puddles to get her belly wet. Had no major problems little bit of wheel spin here and there due to road tyres, and managed to hit the same rock twice, (thought it was on the next crest) and bottomed out on a few wheel ruts that had water in them. all in all its a good fun track, could spend more than one day in there with over 30 something tracks. Alot are flat but some are good.
Recomend, food for lunch, map or gps (to recall tracks) as always another vehicle just in case.
I have a couple of good snaps from the day but im not sure how to upload them, when i figure it out i will do so.
Enjoy the read. Mav
P.S if you do venture in dont panic at the sound of gun fire. There is a rifle range in there and it echos through the valley.
