Re: Problem When filling up fuel tank
Or maybe that's exactly what they wanted you to think they thought about actually doing it in case you thought otherwise

Re: Problem When filling up fuel tank
Got the Xy going in to Nissan for a warranty service this morning.
They are going to replace the fuel sensors.
Will report back tonight on how it goes.
Note to all T31 drivers.
There is a bulletin from Nissan Australia regarding these sensors for the X Trail and the Tiida.
If your local service area doesn't know anything about it, just mention to him/her that there is a bulletin on iit.
So give them a call and get looked at.

Re: Problem When filling up fuel tank
Well turned up this morning at Nepean Motor Group (Penrith) and waited for an hour and a half while they did the fuel sensors, took advantage of a free tea and muffin (what they call breakfast).
Then a lady came out with a whole lot of paper work in her hand, something was up I knew it.
Apparently they had to ring Nissan Australia to confirm that the sensors needed changing and that Melbourne will call them this afternoon.
The Xy has been booked in for a week to get this done, why they couldn't make the call in that time is beyond me.
Being self employed, todays effort cost me half a days work with no pay.
Not happy Jan!!!!!
I thought that the new owners would have sorted this out by now, but no, still the same old incompetant Nepean motor Group.
(trust me the language got more coloufull than this)

Re: Problem When filling up fuel tank
Isn't this the same dealership which had no stock of oil filters or something?
Maybe they were trying to find the hidden stock all this time you were waiting and only just discovered they didn't have any and have to order them in after seeking approval from head office in Melbourne.
