Re: Crank angle sensor
Try another dealer and tell them a friend in Sydney got the pair as a pack from Melbourne through his dealer. It sounds like your current dealer just wants to move his stock.
The part number for the pair is B3731-6N27K

Re:
You shouldn't need to Jamie, its only a sensor. There probably will be some torque setting for it, but would only be very low.
Was the second one covered by some sort of parts warranty?

Re: Crank angle sensor
OK guys, after a bit of help here.
Mechanic just changed the Crank Angle Sensor (took all of half hour) after Nissan put the car on a consult and said that was the problem (which I suspected)
No change to the problem, grrrrrrr
Here are the symptoms if anyone has any suggestions.
Saturday night, came to stop at lights and she stalled. Started up and ran just fine for the rest of the night. Saturday morning had trouble starting up and engine warning light come on and stayed on..
Get in to start the car, no accelerator, just cranking non stop, no sign of a kick over.
But, if I crank it over for a few turns and then turn the ignition off and try it again doing the same thing (few short bursts) after about 3-4 cranks it will start.
When it is going, it runs well, no problems whatsoever.
Funny thing is, the mechanic had me try to kick it over and keep cranking, no go but then he shot some spray can fuel into the hose (that comes from the motor to the throttle body) and she kicked over easy as and kept going.
I have the auto electrician looking at it tomorrow but if anyone has some suggestions for him to start looking at would be very much appreciated.
Thanks in advance guys.

Re:
Its sound electrical for sure, especially if it fired over a bit of a spray down the hose.
The throttle body might be on the way out.
I would look at the connections to the throttle body and even back to the ECU. Could be as simple as water in the connectors.
